At the Queensland C# Mobile Developers meetup group's September event, I gave an updated version of my 'Starting out right with Xamarin' presentation from 2015. Since the last iteration, quite a lot has changed in the Xamarin space but many of the principles still held. The talk is a light-hearted but informative overview of things to keep in mind when beginning to work with Xamarin, including:
- Mobile principles to live by
- A pop quiz - asking and answering your first big questions
- A spotlight on some recommended libraries
- and an extensive roundup of useful Xamarin libraries and resources.
